I’ve always loved photography, even if it sounds like a cliche. The first photos I took, I did without knowing how to do that, without paying any attention to framing, subject or composition. After a while, I began to understand what is happening in the space between me as a photographer and the subject I was photographing. And many years later, I also understood why I love to photograph. To communicate. A message, a concept, an emotion.

Agate Tūna is a multidisciplinary artist from Riga, Latvia, working across photography, photographic installations, experimental video and sound art.
Her practice explores the relationship between spirituality and technology from a woman’s perspective. Taking a research-driven, web-like approach, she traces connections between her family's spiritualist heritage, hauntology, quartz crystals, and techno-specters while examining how historical narratives, personal experiences, and technological advancements shape our perception of the unseen.
Photography, as a "haunted medium," plays a central role in her work, preserving traces of the past while shaping imagined futures. Through analogue and experimental techniques such as chemigrams, she investigates the materiality of the photographic image. From self-portraits to staged compositions, her process is deeply hands-on, involving set construction, object-making, and direct engagement with physical materials.



Anna Kieblesz is an artist based in Amsterdam. Working across photography, performance, light, installation, and textile, her practice moves between image-based thinking and tactile, material processes. She explores bodily experience, vulnerability, and the role of photography in both artistic and personal contexts.
Her work investigates how identity, memory, and subjectivity are shaped through embodied experience. The relationship between inside and outside is in constant flux: as the body mediates experience, it becomes both the center and the creator of action. Approaching her practice from an existential perspective, Kieblesz translates research into material form and brings questions back to the body. Moving between slow and immediate gestures, she combines material experimentation with the reworking of photographic images, often using materials that change over time. Through these methods, she examines discomfort, shame, trauma, and transformation.
Anna Kieblesz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Photography from the Royal Academy of Art (KABK), The Hague (2018), and graduated from the Master Fine Art programme at the Piet Zwart Instituut, Rotterdam (2024).



Glorija Lizde (b. 1991, Split) holds an MA in Photography (Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb) and a BA in Film and Video (Arts Academy Split). Her practice focuses on recreation and reinterpretation of the archives and memory interweaving documentary and staged photography, text and objects. She has had several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows in Croatia and internationally, including the O21 OSTRALE Biennale, She Who Starts the Song (17th Gjon Mili International Exhibition of Photography and Moving Image), Familiar Fantoms (Residency Unlimited, New York), Of This World – Envisioning Alternative Cartographies (Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center), Being/Seeing (QUAD Gallery), Athens Photo Festival (Benaki Museum), In-between (The Bridge and Tunnel Gallery, New York), Floodlit Room – Women’s Photographic Practices in Croatia, among others. Her works are included in the collections of the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb and the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts in Japan. Lizde was selected for the international emerging artists program Parallel – European Photo Based Platform in 2018 and 2021. She received the Dr. Éva Kahán Foundation Scholarship and Residency in 2022 and was awarded the Radoslav Putar Award the same year, recognizing her as the best young visual artist in Croatia.



Born in 1991, I grew up in Nancy in north-eastern France.
Since 2011, I have been living and working in Brussels. I have a bachelor's degree in photography from ESA Le 75 and a master's degree from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (Belgium).
My practice focuses on landscape and questions revolving around its use, exploitation and representation. Through my projects, I attempt to reflect on our relationship with what we call nature and to offer a different understanding of it.

Irish artist Shane Hynan holds an MFA in Photography (Ulster University, 2019). His practice centres on photography with experimental elements in sound, video, collage, and sculpture. The metaphorical exploration of place, land and architecture is a significant subtext throughout his work. He draws upon conceptual, performative and subjective documentary approaches and works primarily with analogue photography processes as it enhances an emotional and intuitive connection with landscape and topography. He has shown his work extensively in Ireland and received multiple awards from the Arts Council of Ireland, Creative Ireland, and Kildare Arts. He has exhibited internationally in China, Germany, and the UK, and was shortlisted for the Royal Photographic Society IPE162, IPE163 and IPE166. In 2024 he undertook residencies at the Centre Culturel Irlandais (Paris, France), and at the Roscommon Arts Centre (Roscommon, Ireland).



Jéssica Pereira Gaspar is a Portuguese transdisciplinary artist, born in Coimbra in 1996. She began her academic journey in sciences and technologies, which profoundly influenced her methodology, research focus, and creative practice. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa and her Master's degree in Visual Arts from Escola Superior de Artes e Design das Caldas da Rainha.Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Science and Technology of the Arts at the Catholic University of Porto, where she is developing research on interfaces for interspecies communication and artistic co-creation with different organisms.Her practice centers on interactions with other-than-human entities and their dynamic agency, seeking to unravel the intricate relationships between living organisms and matter. By integrating multiple mediums such as image, video, sound, and organic materials as catalysts for immersive experiences, her work creates a space for reflection on the interconnectedness of all entities. In 2022, she was awarded a scholarship for an art residency at RAMA, where she developed the solo exhibition Spectacular Instability. She also participated in Zonas deTransição (2023), a project by the PLMJ Foundation, showcasing Transmutations II, a piece later included in the foundation's collection. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions such as A Certain Practice of Attention (2023) and the XXII Biennial of Cerveira (2022). In 2024, her work was included in the Portuguese Emerging Art book, the Millennium BCP Young Art Award from which she was awarded the Portuguese Serigraphy Center Award.In 2025, she was one of the five artists to be selected to represent Porto and Ci.clo Platform in Futures Photography Festival of 2025.



Emilia Martin is a Polish artist and photographer based in The Hague, Netherlands, where in 2022 she graduated from Photography & Society Masters at the Royal Academy of the Art. Working with photography, writing, and sound, she explores how the stories we tell shape the realities we inhabit. She investigates mythologies and tales, and how they fluctuate and shift throughout histories. Through her work, she aims to complicate the binary understandings of fiction and truth and their established aesthetics. Her process is based on careful research and personal, often playful approaches, through which she questions dominant narratives.
The belief in storytelling is rooted in her upbringing, where she engaged with both rural mythologies and urban narratives. She grew up between two different realities: a remote farm belonging to her grandmother in rural Eastern Poland and a heavy industry coal mining urban region in the West of the country. The clash between these two realities, the narrative of extractivism against rural mythologies and the proximity of nature, formed a place that continues to ground her artistic practice. Her work is inspired and informed by her rural Polish ancestry and intersectional feminist approaches.



She completed her studies in Photography and Audiovisual Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design in Athens and has been working as a photographer since 2015. Her work tends to explore social issues surrounding identity and gender through photography. Her main aim through portraiture is to capture the essence of the subject, conveying their character and ultimately telling their story. Alongside her socially engaged work, she develops deeply immersive and intensely personal projects that draw from her own experiences of belonging, memory, and trauma. Her practice is rooted in long-term, research-led projects that function as extended acts of introspection, using photography as a psychological and emotional tool through which she examines processes of self-understanding and transformation.



eden levi am (b. 1992) is an artist, photographer, and queer activist based in Geneva. For several years they have developed a documentary approach that centres on activism and intimacy. Working primarily with analogue photography and video—and, more recently, performance—their practice offers a personal and affective view of the world that resonates with current social and political issues. From an intersectional feminist and decolonial perspective, their work addresses questions related to the body, gender, identities, and their representations.
They graduated from the Vevey School of Photography (CEPV) in 2018. Their work has been exhibited and published in Switzerland and abroad since 2017. It was recently featured at Swiss and international venues and festivals such as Verzasca Foto Festival (2024), Fesses-tival (Geneva 2023), Tom of Finland Art & Culture Festival (London 2023), Musée d’art de Pully (CH, 2017 & 2023), Urgent Paradise (Lausanne 2022), Forde (Geneva, 2022), Romantso Gallery Space (Athens 2020), Space Grotesk (Basel 2019), CPG (Geneva, 2019), La Nef (Jura, 2019), and others. Publications include Libération (2021) and Journal des Bains (2016–2025) as well as several exhibition catalogues.
In 2021 they were awarded the City of Geneva’s Documentary Photography Grant. The resulting project, Rivers, was published in 2023 as a monograph by Miami Books and presented in a solo exhibition at Halle Nord in Geneva, accompanied by two performances during the Fesses‑tival, a festival that promotes positive and inclusive visions of bodies, identities, and sexualities. Most recently, they presented their latest project, ZONE ROUGE RACINES, within the framework of the JOUPH (2025) programme at Espace Libre in Biel/Bienne.



Minh Ngọc Nguyễn (b. 1992) holds an MFA in Photography from
HDK-Valand in Gothenburg and a BA in Visual Communication from
the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Copenhagen.
Working primarily with staged still-life photography, Nguyễn
approaches the medium as both a visual practice and a cultural
system, examining how images produce, circulate, and stabilise
meanings of identity, desire, and representation. Minh lives and
works in Copenhagen.

Salvatore Vitale (b. 1986, Palermo, Italy) is a Swiss-based artist, director, and professor whose work explores the complexity of contemporary societies. Using expanded and speculative storytelling through mixed media techniques, he focuses on the politics of systems that regulate modernity and the impact of technological transformations.
Vitale is the Artistic Director of EXPOSED Torino Foto Festival and FUTURES Photography, both international platforms dedicated to contemporary photography. He also serves as a Professor at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where he leads the Transmedia Storytelling Programme. Previously, he was the co-founder and editor-in-chief of YET magazine, an international photography publication.
Vitale’s work has received international awards. It is featured in several public and private collections and has been widely exhibited in museums and at festivals worldwide.

Julia Gelezova is a Cultural Producer and Curator, specialising in contemporary lens-based practices. She is General and Project Manager for PhotoIreland, producing events throughout the year like the annual PhotoIreland Festival and Critical Academy, while collaborating on ambitious projects like Creative Europe Photography Platforms—Parallel and Futures. Julia is co-editor of OVER Journal: The Critical Journal of Photography and Visual Culture for the 21st Century. In 2024, she has founded vicinities.network - a peer network for Visual Arts curators and professionals based in Ireland.
She has ample experience in producing exhibitions and events, including curatorial work and project management, has vast and successful experience in personal and collective application writing for bodies like the Arts Council of Ireland and local councils. She has participated in portfolio reviews, acted as visiting lecturer, and also worked in an editorial capacity and translation for artists and other arts professionals, including work for The Routledge Guide to Photography and Visual Culture. Most recently, she curated the 2021 edition of PhotoIreland Festival and was the Centre Culturel Irlandais cultural producer resident 2022. She is a member of the AICA International Association of Art Critics.

Danaé Panchaud is a Swiss exhibition curator, museologist and lecturer specialising in photography. She has been the director of the Centre de la photographie Genève since 2022, after serving from 2018 to 2021 as director and curator of the Photoforum Pasquart in Biel, Switzerland. She trained in photography at the Vevey School of Photography before completing a bachelor’s degree in visual arts with a specialisation in curatorial practices at Geneva University of Art and Design. She later studied museology at Birkbeck, University of London, earning a master’s degree in 2017. She has held positions in several Swiss institutions in the fields of contemporary art, design and science, including the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève, where she was a research associate from 2007 to 2012, the Gallery SAKS in Geneva in 2012-2013, the Fondation Verdan in Lausanne as scientific collaborator, and the mudac in Lausanne, where she was in charge of the public relations from 2012 to 2017. As a free-lance curator, she has curated exhibitions for several Swiss and international museums, independent spaces and galleries since 2012. She regularly writes texts for monographs of contemporary artists, exhibition catalogues, and thematic publications such as Flora Photographica, co-authored with William Ewing and published by Thames & Hudson in 2022. She was a lecturer at the Vevey School of Photography from 2014 to 2018, and regularly lectures at art and photography schools in Switzerland. In 2023, she joined the teaching faculty of the CAS in Theory and History of Photography at University of Zurich.

Iveta Gabaliņa (1979) is a curator, artist and educator. She has studied photography at the studio of Andrejs Grants, at Bournemouth Art Institute, and in the MA programme at Alto University in Helsinki. Her work has been exhibited in Latvia and internationally, including at C/O (Berlin, Germany), GESTE (Paris), and Williams Tower Gallery (Houston, USA). Gabaliņa has participated in photography festivals in Singapore, Hanover, and elsewhere. Her work is included in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, Geste Paris, and the Deutsche Börse Art Collection.
Since 2008 she has been part of ISSP team, responsible for numerous educational and curatorial projects. In 2018 she founded ISSP Gallery - an exhibition space dedicated to contemporary photography.
