Pavle Nikolić

Florian Gatzweiler (*1998) is a German artist whose work deals with identity, violence and images of masculinity. His projects are characterized by an empathetic examination of personal and social issues, which he often explores in a photographic context. He combines documentary approaches with staged elements to create multi-layered and complex narratives in which he attempts to do justice to the themes and problems of his work. During his studies at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie, which he completed in 2024 under the direction of Irina Ruppert, he exhibited several times, including at EMOP Berlin and Paris Photo. His awards include a scholarship from the Socio-Culture Fund and the Paris Photo Young Talent Award.

Mathias Eis (b. 1995) is a documentary photographer and visual storyteller, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, who specializes in long-term real-life projects that explore people’s ways of living through portraiture, reportage and landscape photography. He graduated with an BA in Photojournalism from the Danish School of Media and Journalism in 2023. He also attended the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, where he studied Fine Art Photography from 2018-2019. He is particularly interested in communities and subcultures that provide a unique insight into a life that few have access to. He works as a freelancer focusing on longer projects combined with commissioned assignments for various international and national media.

Cristóbal Ascencio (Guadalajara, 1988) is a photographer and visual artist whose work explores the relationship between images and memory. With studies in Audiovisual Media (CAAV Jalisco) and Contemporary Photography (EFTI Madrid), his practice goes beyondtraditional photography into virtual reality, data manipulation, and photogrammetry. He hasexhibited individually at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Spain (2025), Fundación Marso(2025) and Getxo Photo Festival (2022), and collectively at Foam Amsterdam, AthensPhotography Festival, Casa del Lago UNAM, and Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation. Selected for FOAM Talent 2024-25, he won the First Prize FotoCanal Photography Book ofthe Community of Madrid (2024) and published Las flores mueren dos veces with Editorial Dispara (2025). His work is present in collections such as Art Vontobel and Fundación ENAIRE. His work has been published in FOAM Magazine, Exit, Aesthetica, and the British Journal of Photography

Claudia Amatruda (1995, Foggia, IT) is a visual artist living and working in Bologna, IT. Her work focuses on the representation of the body through photography, video performances and installations, addressing social issues such as disability and with particular attention to the creative process, supported by research on scientific and literary texts. In 2019 she published the photographic book "Naiade", presented through lectures in Italian schools and festivals to raise awareness on the topic of invisible diseases. From 2021 to the present her project "When you hear hoofbeats think of horses, not zebras" is exhibited in Italy, Greece, France, Holland and England. In 2022 she won the Special Mention for the Emerging Photography section of the Francesco Fabbri Prize. According to Il Giornale dell'Arte she is among the 30 artists under 30 in 2023 and produced NFT works during a PhotoVogue x Voice.com Art Residency. In 2024 she exhibited her project "Good Use of my Bad Health" at the Fotografia Europea Festival in Reggio Emilia, winning the ‘Nuove Traiettorie’ mention of the Luigi Ghirri Prize: an art residency and solo exhibition at the Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm in May 2025. This year she will release her new photography book published by RVM HUB.

Sara Perovic’s photography begins with the personal, drawing from her own experiences and memories, and expands into broader themes of repetition, abstraction, and identity. Her work explores how personal moments shape perception and emotional expression. In Palmeral (2017), Perovic uses texture, repetition, and the fragility of nature to reveal the unseen complexities of plants. My Father’s Legs (2020) blends personal reflection with artistic exploration, confronting memory and healing through repetitive gestures, navigating emotional expression and abstraction. TWO (2024) explores human relationships, visualizing emotional connections with metaphorical imagery and a poetic “hugs ballad.” In Home Mirror I, Perovic catalogs her belongings to explore identity as both a collection of material and memory. Her book My Father’s Legs was shortlisted for the Les Rencontres d’Arles Prix du Livre d’Auteur and the Aperture/Paris Photo First Book Award. Perovic also founded aTree, a fanzine promoting young photographers, available at MoMA Library in New York. She works as a photographer and architect in Berlin.

He approached photography as a self-taught artist after earning a diploma in Graphic Design and Art Direction from NABA Milan in 2014. In 2015, after spending one year in Tbilisi (Georgia) working on a documentary about Abkhazian refugees, he returned to Italy and joined the photography collective CESURA, where he remained for two years. During this time, he worked as an assistant to photographer Gabriele Micalizzi and collaborated with Alex Majoli (MAGNUM) on the production of several major exhibitions. While at CESURA, he shifted away from a photojournalistic approach, developing a long-term, research-driven photographic practice with a strong focus on photobooks. After leaving the collective in 2017, he began working as a freelance photographer. His journey took him first to Siberia, where he worked on the project I Don’t Try to Feel Awake Anymore. In 2019, in Oklahoma, where a chance encounter with Kristal and her son Skyler led to Love Mom, an ongoing project that explores the sometimes toxic relationship between a mother and her son while also reflecting on emptiness and the profound solitude embedded in the vastness of the American suburbs. In 2020, driven by the need to find a place to call home, he moved from Milan to a small village of 50 inhabitants in the Val di Noto. There, he began working on All These Goodbyes, a body of work that serves as both self-reflection and the story of an escape. In the spring of 2021, he spent three months in Denmark collaborating with photographer Jacob Aue Sobol (MAGNUM) on the production of his book James House (2022). In 2022, he was selected as one of the 25 winners of Italian Panorama, an open call organized by Vogue Italia and PhotoVogue. In January 2023, the Penumbra Foundation (New York, USA) awarded him a full scholarship for its Long-Term Photobook Program.

Mara Palena (1988) lives and works in Milan. Her research focuses on themes such as memory, recollection, and identity. She works with photography, video, and sound, reworking materials from archives, often open and participatory, like home movies, and drawing on a personal archive of photographic images that she has been curating for years to document her life. Her work has been exhibited at various international festivals, venues, and galleries, including the Guardian Art Center in Beijing, Galleria Studio G7 in Bologna, Careof, Marsèll Paradise, Nowhere Gallery, Pananti Atelier, and Video Sound Art in Milan, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Madrid, MOPLA in Los Angeles, Artphilein Foundation in Lugano, and Recontemporary in Turin. Between 2021 and 2024, she was a finalist in several art prizes, including the Lucie Foundation, Combat Prize, Premio Fabbri, New Post Photography, and Artphilein Photo Book Contest. In 2022, she was selected by Camera Torino for FUTURES Photography. Her work Oikeiôsis won the 2022 Surprize Award from Sprint and the Marcelo Burlon Foundation. The editorial project was curated and published by Witty Books in 2023 and was included by Photo España among the 100 best books published in 2024.

Thalles Piaget (*1996) is a human being - not an artificial intelligence - born in Brazil and living in Biel/Bienne - CH. Essentially vagabond, Thalles is inspired by readings, walks, and reflections. Capturing a moment that doesn’t truly exist, trying to transform the ordinary into a dreamlike experience. Its artistic approach is at the border of dreams, science, and absurdity. Wandering, guided by the moment, playing with its non-existence. “In my work, I aim to open a window to a dreamlike digital universe composed of surfaces, reflections, and light, free from its commercial intent yet infused with a poetic perspective on the machinery’s materials. In my photographs and installations, I want to explore and question the possibilities of our digital images and their inflationary use in our daily lives. While using the medium of photography, my aim is not to document specific scenes or compositions, but rather to seek what is between the subject and the camera and to capture the moments in between. Photography serves as a fundamental tool in my creative work, yet paradoxically, it is the medium with which I maintain the most critical relationship.”‍

Mateusz Pecyna is a Polish visual artist working with installation, moving image, objects and sound. His practice explores how technological systems and environmental stress reshape contemporary culture, especially through regimes of visibility, interfaces and synthetic forms of nature. Rather than treating technology as a neutral tool, he approaches it as a cultural agent: something that produces aesthetics, behaviours and power relations. Combining research with speculative narration, he builds layered situations that test the boundaries between documentary evidence and constructed scenarios. Pecyna holds an MA in Photography and Multimedia from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, Poland. He has presented work widely in solo and group exhibitions in Poland and internationally, across museums and festival contexts. He currently participates in the international Heritage Lens programme, focusing on how climate change and environmental catastrophe reorganise cultural heritage, public imaginaries and the conditions of living. He was awarded the Artistic Scholarship of the City of Łódź (2025).

Sixtine de Thé is a French photographer based in Paris. Her work is expressed as a sensory cartography of the visible and the invisible, where themes such as the body, the face and the territory are prevalent. Often on the verge of disappearance or destruction, her images attempt to answer the question: what remains? She has exhibited in France, at Private Choice, Galerie Dohyang Lee, Festival Photo Saint-Germain, Fondation Luma (Arles), and abroad (Lebanon, United States). In 2021, her project Pellicules Aveugles won a jury prize at the Prix Dior pour Jeunes Talents. In 2022, she was awarded the Villa Al Qamar, a residency at the Institut Français du Liban, as well as the research and production residency at the Centre Photographique d'Île-de-France for her project Quelque chose qui noire, a photographic installation on darkness in Lebanon, which was also a ‘Coup de cœur’ at the Prix LE BAL/ADAGP in 2023. Born in France in 1991, Sixtine de Thé lives and works in Paris. She graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2021, after studying art history at the École Normale Supérieure and the École du Louvre.
