Jacopo Valentini (1990) lives between Modena and Milan. In 2017, he graduated in Architecture at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture and obtained an MA in Photography at the IUAV in Venice. In the same year he won the “101st Collective Young Artists” at the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation.
He has been selected for Giovane Fotografia Italiana #07, Fotografia Europea Festival - Reggio Emilia, and he won the Nocivelli Award (2019). In 2020 he is a finalist for the Leica Oskar Barnack Award Newcomer and winner of the Refocus Prize, powered by Triennale and Mufoco in Milan. In the same year Valentini won Cantica21 grant, developing the project Concerning Dante - Autonomus Cell research, published by Humboldt Books.
Valentini work has been exhibited in institutions and private spaces both in Italy and abroad, including: La Triennale di Milano, L. Just as much a physical experience which disturbs the tranquil surface of the photograph as a workshop narrative with a documentary character, Laetitia Bica’s series Cream, cannot be confined to a single genre. Following two years of collaborations with the CREAHM workshop in Liège (Creativity and Mental handicap), she undertook two months of intense research with the workshop’s artists, the result of which is this corpus of disruptive and vibrant photographs. Collaboration, a creative process which is a daily part of this photographer’s life as she typically works on commission in the areas of fashion, music, and design, in these photographs is transmitted through the body. Gestures, colours and materials become elements of language during their creative exchanges. Thus unfolds a series of figures covered in paint with thick and bold features and accents that are at times wild, at times warlike. A few of the images, placed in a sequence, follow an artist’s movement, rendering the in progress nature of this experiment and indicating Laetitia Bica’s double position on what takes on the appearance of almost ritualistic practices: at the same time actor and master of ceremonies.
Fred Mungo (b. 1994) is an Italian photographer and visual artist, currently based between London and Bologna. Born in Rieti, she first moved to London in 2013 to study. Mungo holds a BA in Fashion Photography from London College of Fashion (University of the Arts of London), and an MA in Photography and Urban Cultures from Goldsmiths University. Her artistic research sits within the framework of visual sociology.
Tomasz Kawecki (1993) is a photographer living and working between Cracow and the Warsaw (Poland). He is studying at the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava (Czech Republic), and studied in the Faculty of Architecture at Cracow University of Technology.
Tomasz's work comes from his inner space. Using elements of performance and installation, he mixes fiction with reality, which results in quasi-documentary outcome. In his works, he uses universal symbols that are archetypes in the collective thinking of society. Out of the chthonic of nature, out of its chaos, he intuitively selects fragments from which he creates images. The leitmotif of Tomasz’s works is the dualism present in nature and man.
Tomasz's works has been exhibited and published internationally. Among others, he is a winner of LensCulture ArtPhotography Awards (US), Cracow Photomonth ShowOFF section (PL), Grand Prix IMAnext “Dream” (JPN) and Reframing History Photo Vogue Italia.
Matej Jurčević graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts (KASKA), Antwerp in 2021 with a MA in Photography. In his artistic practice he explores themes of identity, collective memory and youth culture. Due to personal mental health struggles he works towards destigmatisation of mental illness. He is a recipient of the VID Grant award for 2021 hosted by the VID Foundation for Photography. The award is granted to photographers exploring relevant social issues in the Balkans. In 2022 he published his first photobook: I try to take care of myself now. The book was published by Organ Vida Publishing.

She currently lives and works in Saint-Denis, in the Paris region. After an initial experience in cinema as an assistant in Veneto, she turned to photography and began developing documentary projects. She is studying Sociology at the University of Padua and in 2023 attended the reportage course at the Scuola Jack London. Her research focuses on the reevaluation of Italy’s North-East and its connections with global phenomena. Her projects and focused interventions allow her to engage with parallel issues: on a social level, conventions, myths, and processes of valorization or erasure; on a personal level, the relationship with space, her own role, and interest and passion as practices capable of generating connections. She is part of the Nouvel Œil mentorship program by Gaze Magazine at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie (MEP) for the 2025–2026 edition.
I'm a Norwegian-Vietnamese designer and artist based between Oslo and Berlin. Born in the Bidong refugee camp in Malaysia and raised on Norway's west coast, my background drives my research into migration, diaspora stories, and multicultural identity.Much of Vietnamese refugee history remains clouded in post-war trauma and politically charged narratives. My work seeks to make sense of our position as displaced individuals in the Western world and examines diasporic existence beyond simply digesting the past. I wish to envision what our identity looks like in the future.Through field and archival research interpreted with a poetic lens, I create what I call poetic essays: exhibitions and projects that seamlessly intertwine poetry, photography, sound, video, and installation. My asymmetrical approach allows elements to inspire each other non-hierarchically. The work explores contradictions between perception and reality, truth and staging, filling historical and memory voids by creating plausible simulacra.
Maria João Salgado, was born in Portugal, in 1992 and has studied at the Portuguese Institute of Photography (IPF) and at Institute of Cultural and Artistic Production (IPCI) in Porto. Since 2015 she has been focusing on Documental Photography, mainly developing projects on human rights and alternative living communities. Currently, she is focusing on a more artistic approach, developing themes on personal issues.
He is interested in the image and imbrication of this medium with other disciplines such as sculpture and installation. As well as visual media, music and the creation of scenography and environments. Trying to convey an experience, an event or a state of mind is his main excuse when developing a project.
He investigates the relationship between the individual and his environment, about the spaces we inhabit and about contemporary forms of domestic life and the state of the objects that inhabit an era of wild mediatic reproduction. His work process is based on finding, combining and remixing poor materials, found objects and waste, signs that encourage him to experiment with new ways of interpreting what surrounds us.

Sanja Bistričić Srića is a Zagreb-based multimedia artist, photographer and cinematographer. Exploring the possibilities of image, sound and text through various media – film, video, photography, collage – her work explores personal themes in a range of diaristic forms. Srića holds a Master’s degree in Animated Film and New Media from the Academy of Fine Arts, Zagreb. Her works and films have been widely exhibited in Croatia and abroad, whilst her images have been published by the likes of Elle, Vice and Interview. She is a co-founder and member of the multidisciplinary collective RA’AH, which explores intersections of fashion, art and music.
With additional background in gender studies & activism Marta’s artistic work focuses on geopolitical and social issues, gossip & fiction, as well as personal experiences. She experiments with various media including participatory workshops and sound installations..
Marta’s work was shown e.g. at OBSCURA Festival of Photography in Malaysia, at TIFF Festival in Wroclaw, at ODESA PHOTO DAYS 2020, BLICA - First Biennale of Arts in Lebanon. Photobook presenting SHIFTERS project is shortlisted for Mack First Book Award 2020. She was selected for several residencies, most recently Landskrona Foto Residency (2020), as well as Nida Art Colony, Gasworks, and Botkyrka Konsthal. She took part in ‘Re-Tooling Residencies Project’ organised by CCA Warsaw. She created & curated ‘Fenix Cities: workshops and exhibitions in Warsaw and Beirut’.

I'm a photographer based in Brussels. After a stint at the École Nationale Supérieure de Photographie in Arles, France, I have developed my practice with the support of various art institutions, including Wiels Contemporary Art Center, Musée du Quai Branly in Paris, Centre photographique d'Île-de-France, FOMU in Antwerp, and Institut Fondamental d'Afrique Noire in Dakar. My work operates at the crossroads of official history, erased memory, and personal narrative, exploring the ecological, social, and spiritual transformations that marked the Brazilian Amazon at the turn of the 20th century. Through my practice, I examine the philosophical and phantasmal framework that sustain the ideals of discovery, conquest, and supremacy central to Western modernity, offering a subtle yet incisive reflection on their enduring impact.
